2026 GCSB Annual Workshop

The 2026 GCSB Annual Workshop brings together researchers, students, collaborators, and industry partners from across North America, Europe, and Asia to share research progress and strengthen international collaboration in sustainable bioproducts.

The three-day workshop highlights advances across GCSB’s major research areas, including biorefinery processes, biomanufacturing, sustainable materials and composites, product end-of-life solutions, integrated systems analysis, and community impact and education. Participants will share recent scientific achievements, discuss emerging research opportunities, and align future strategies toward developing environmentally and economically sustainable alternatives to petroleum-derived materials.

The workshop also provides an important forum for interdisciplinary exchange, new collaborations, and training the next generation of scientists and engineers working toward a sustainable and circular bioeconomy.
